More LOTR:M Cards

As of today, I am officially done with my Lord of the Rings: Masterpieces cards!! All 1,106 have been sent to Topps. Whooo :)

Here's another sneak peek for ya:

I definitely had fun working on this set. I really had a chance to throw my styles all over the place -- there's some really quick sketches, some super-cartoony stuff, some polished ones that I spent a long time on. It'll be fun to watch ebay when the set comes out. After doing so many cards, by that time I'll probably forget what half of my cards looked like. heh

And, yes, I'm getting six of my cards back from Topps -- and I'll be selling 'em on ebay. I'll announce it here in my blog when that happens (expect mid or late October, when the cards arrive in stores).

Ultimate Power

I'm one of the interior artists for Green Ronin's new Mutants & Masterminds: Ultimate Power sourcebook, and it's in stores now! This is my first official RPG gig, so I'm pretty excited to see the final product. If you're a gamer, definitely check it out - Mutants & Masterminds is a fun game. :)

Here's a look at two of the illustrations I did for the book:

If ya wanna see the other three, you'll just have to run out to your local hobby store and buy the book! ;)

Yoda Tattoo

James Carey of Chicago emailed me, showing a photo of the Yoda tattoo (based on my drawing) he got on his honeymoon earlier this month in San Francisco. As always, it's super-flattering to see stuff like this. James, thanks for sending me the pic, and the tat looks awesome, man!! :)

I added more artwork to my eBay auction list -- There's 2 pages worth, so be sure to check out both pages! I probably won't be selling a bunch of art like this again for awhile, so please don't hesitate to place a few bids. :)

Cylon Prints

I created a limited edition Battlestar Galactica print - as you can see, it features our favorite sexy cylon, Six, as well as a big bad-ass centurion. I had 15 of these babies printed on high-quality 11"x14" gloss cover stock, and they're each numbered and signed. They're on eBay with Buy-It-Now options, so if you're interested in grabbing one of these super-rare gems of Grant Gould magic, click here! :)

If any of the prints are unsold by the first week of October, I'll have 'em with me at the Minnesota FallCon convention.

BSG Flyers

If anyone wants to be my pal and help pimp out Battlestar Galactica (the new season 2.5 DVD comes out Sept. 19th and season 3 starts Oct. 6th) as well as my LiveJournal community "Battlestar Blog," I made these handy-dandy flyers:

All ya gotta do is click here for the hi-res image, save it, head on over to your local copy shop, print up some copies (it's set up on a standard 8.5"x11" sheet), and then slice the sheet into quarters so that each flyer's 4.25"x5.5". You can give 'em to friends, comic shops, drop 'em off on convention freebie tables -- whatever you wanna do with 'em is cool with me! Just doin' my part to spread the love. :)
